Job Summary
Purpose of the Role
The Functional Consultant analyzes the client’s business processes and brings expertise to help maximize the use of IT systems by designing and implementing solutions tailored to business needs.
He/she operates across a broad functional scope and ensures delivery aligned with client expectations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business processes and model workflows
Identify gaps between business processes and ERP systems
Design and configure functional solutions
Propose global IS architecture for management systems
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt messaging to context
Manage and supervise deliverables and ensure quality
Administer data and define business rules
Coordinate functional and technical evolutions over time
Required Knowledge (one or more of the below)
ERP / CRM / Manufacturing systems (GPAO)
Project management methodologies (Agile, etc.)
Continuous improvement practices
Finance / Accounting knowledge
Supply chain / Production / Planning knowledge
Web / e-commerce / SEO knowledge
CRM domain knowledge
Industry knowledge (e.g., aeronautics, trading)
Client engagement frameworks and internal processes
Optional Technical Knowledge
JavaScript
Python / Object-oriented languages
SQL
Linux / Bash
