Junior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
What will you do in this role?
Prepare monthly reporting as per management accounts, based on trial balances received for each company;
Prepare monthly balance sheet and profit and loss reports, based on trial balances received for each company;
Gather financial information from each subsidiary on a monthly basis and organize it into categories;
Provide the preparation of quarterly intercompany reconciliations and provide insights to the accounting department for an accurate recording of all intercompany and intra-group balances;
Compute the interest applicable to intercompany loans and verify their recording in the individual journal register;
Maintain contact with the external (statutory) auditors, gather and provide them financial information twice a year for a group of subsidiaries;
Providing support during the annual audit process at Group level in relation with group auditors;
Providing support and information for the annual transfer pricing report, prepared by external consultants;
Help prepare standalone OMFP financial statements on an annual basis for multiple subsidiaries;
Support and assist in the preparation of the Group’s annual operating budget.
What would we like you to have?
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Big 4 company or a similar position in Financial Accounting and Reporting / Financial Planning & Analysis Departments;
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance/Accounting;
Detail-oriented with RAS knowledge (IFRS knowledge is a plus);
Planning, budgeting and cost control principles knowledge;
Proficient in PC skills and MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point);
Highly organized, analytical, eager to learn new concepts and apply them in practical situations, task focused and handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Fluency in English.
